Ayahuasca Retreat

5 Day Ayahuasca Retreat

Imagine how it would feel to have unshakeable levels of self-love, confidence, clarity and inner peace?

Discover this and more during our 8 week programme which includes a 5-day Ayahuasca Retreat.

Learn to:

  • make and maintain positive changes in your life
  • break free of habits which no longer serve you
  • find a deep sense of purpose and meaning

What is Ayahuasca?

Ayahuasca is a tool for increasing psychological wellbeing, finding clarity and peace, and discovering how to live joyfully.

It is a sacred shamanic medicine for balancing mental, emotional and physical health which has been used for more than 5000 years by Amazonian Shamans.

Our unconscious minds are the primary source of our behaviour. Our feelings, motives and decisions are powerfully influenced by our memories and past experiences. Ayahuasca allows us to dive into this part of our brains and clear out anything which no longer serves us. This allows us to live our lives more peacefully and freely.

Under the guidance of Ness Dalga, an experienced medicine woman, we will go on a healing, consciousness-expanding journey, shedding light on the aspects of ourselves and our lives that need to be healed.

Each person’s experience is unique. It may be scary, blissful or perhaps both, but by approaching the experience with an open mind and heart, you will get what you need.

Remember that it is only through moving beyond our comfort zones that we are able to transform.

Preparation

The majority of negative experiences arise as a result of not preparing properly, not following the diet, or combining Ayahuasca with pharmaceutical and/or recreational drugs (see safety guidance below). Approach this retreat with the trust and respect it warrants by following the guidance offered before, during and after the retreat.

This retreat includes proper preparation and integration support to facilitate the maximum amount of change, help you break free from what is holding you back, and create new positive patterns to live a more aligned, joyful life.

The process of preparation also creates a sense of safety and community beforehand which allows us to work at a deeper level during the retreat.

Specific dietary guidance will be shared at the opening circle and will involve eating a light, plant-based diet and avoiding foods containing tyramine. A period of abstinence is also recommended.

Safety

Everyone attending the retreat will go through pre-selection  which helps to mitigate any Ayahuasca-related risks.

Ayahuasca has been found to be incompatible with some drugs and medications. These incompatible drugs and medications, when mixed with Ayahuasca, could result in immediate and long-term health issues including serious injury and death.

Please notify us if you are taking any of the following:

  • Recreational drugs
  • Prescription medication
  • Over the counter medications
  • MAOIs
  • SSRI’s (any selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor)
  • Alcohol

For your own safety and the safety of others it is imperative that you give your body sufficient time to purge and detox from recreational drugs and certain medications. We cannot stress how important this is to guarantee your safety.

If you are currently taking prescribed medications that you are concerned will conflict with Ayahuasca, please refer to the list of substances and contact [email protected]. We work closely with a doctor who can advise on whether or not you can continue taking your medication.
Psychological safety is as important as physical safety and therefore people with personality disorders or a history of mental disorders (such as borderline, bipolar, schizophrenia etc.) should disclose this and seek independent medical advice before considering working with Ayahuasca.
